Started by a group of enthusiasts as a hobby, The Stand Comedy Club is a successful group of comedy clubs, with locations in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle. Established in 1995, The Stand Comedy Club began in Edinburgh, moving around the city before settling into a purpose built venue on the edge of Edinburgh's New Town.
