The Capitol Theatre in Davenport, Iowa has a seating capacity of 2,500. The theater opened in 1920 and was designed by the Chicago firm Rapp & Rapp. It featured grand pianos, gold leaf decoration, and several chandeliers. The theater also has a Wicks pipe organ that was restored in 2000.
