Located in the heart of the old town, the Tolbooth is Stirling’s venue for live music and the arts, offering a year round programme of live music, comedy, theatre and creative learning workshops. The site has a long history, starting as a medieval tolbooth completed in 1473 and then having lives as a municipal building, courthouse and jail before being refurbished as an arts venue in 2000.
